There are two services at Manchester First, all with their own personality and flavor.
8:25 AM: TRADITIONAL SERVICE - Sanctuary
Traditional hymns, music and liturgy at this service.
10:55 AM: Regeneration:
CONTEMPORARY SERVICE-Sanctuary
Relaxed atmosphere with praise music, audio visual presentation of gospel message and personal witness at this service.
Worship Changes -
In the summer of 2011 the Manchester First UMC Worship Committee prayerfully made some changes in our worship offerings.
We now have moved our TRADITIONAL SERVICE to 8:25 AM. This service is more liturgical with inclusion of creeds, traditional hymns, more traditional preaching and music by our Sanctuary Choir.
We now have a great CONTEMPORARY service called "REGENERATION." Regeneration begins at 10:55 and is less formal and features the Regeneration Praise Band. Praise songs as well as other video based media are projected on our state-of-the art screen.
The commitment of the Worship Committee is to have both offerings be services that lead us to a personal encounter with God. May we all enter worship on Sundays prepared to honor our Lord Jesus Christ.
