Our youth recently created the

"Commentary Cross!"

Manchester First is excited to offer a new service of worship which began Sunday, October 12, 2008. The new service takes place in our fellowship hall at 11:00 AM each Sunday morning. "COMMENTARY" has a contemporary worship format and runs simultaneously with our more traditional service which is in the church sanctuary. "COMMENTARY" features music by the COMMENTARY PRAISE BAND", which is our youth/young adult praise band and teaching by members of the church ministerial staff and key lay leaders. Participants gather around tables in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere conducive to small group discussion and more intimate sharing.

"COMMENTARY" is designed for folks who may not have had much "church" experience in their lives but also for those who may have had unfortunate or bad experiences with church in the past. Our collective prayer is that this new service will challenge people to become vital disciples of Jesus! It's still worship-its just different!
