The Radio Bible Class

The RADIO BIBLE class began almost 50 years ago as a LIVE broadcast on local Manchester (then AM only) station WMSR.  The class originally was all men but later was "integrated" with the women!  The teacher would "flip a switch" at 10:00 AM and then proceeded to present the lecture type Bible lesson for the 30 minute broadcast.  Members of the class would patiently wait until the radio broadcast was over and then use the rest of the class time to discuss what they just heard. 

In recent years it was determined that a new approach was necessary to continue this class, with the slow decline in its membership and the advent of newer technology which improved broadcast quality.  And so we now "pre-record" the broadcast.  We have had several faithful RBC teachers in the past few years.   DR.
